Woolly Sunflower Seeds

Woolly sunflower seeds for fall planting.

Why we love them:

• Native to Coastal B.C.
• Provides ground cover - silvery basal foliage will look lively in all but the worst of our PNW winter weather.
• Excellent for pollinators, especially native bees
• Bright yellow flowers for the majority of the growing season
• Silver-woolly foliage that adds texture even when it isn’t flowering
• Suited to sunny, dry, rocky or the sort of poor soil found in many yards near the BC coast.
• Perennial, hardy, and relatively low-maintenance

Shallow sow with good drainage and expose to the weather all winter long for spring germination 🌼
